James Norton
Bio
Glass Artist Jim Norton was born in Calgary, Alberta. He studied art and glassblowing at the Alberta College of Art & Design in Calgary, Alberta and Pilchuk Glass School in Stanwood, Washington. From 1986 to the present he has been a glass blowing professor at the Alberta College of Art.
Norton has exhibited his work across Canada in group and solo shows, and it is represented in private and corporate collections. A piece of Norton’s Glass was presented by the City of Calgary to Queen Elizabeth II.
