I find the work we engage in at Poole Lawyers is rewarding because of the complexity of the issues we take on. I am lucky to work in a collaborative and innovative environment with a team that shares the same values and believes in a client-first approach.
Lawyers are in a unique position to help individuals, groups, and organizations with their legal issues and to further the public good. Although we also practice civil litigation, commercial litigation and complex litigation, we are a boutique firm with a niche. We take on many files that other firms are not willing to, especially in the area of legal malpractice claims.
It’s important to ensure that people are protected. We make accountable those people who are in positions of power, which can include lawyers, accountants engineers, other professionals or people with significant amounts of money that are more able to defend themselves. Poole Lawyers is willing to stand up for those that can’t defend themselves and are suffering from other people’s mistakes. We fill a gap where other law firms are not willing to take on these files.
I chose a law career because I enjoy working with people and helping them with complex problems. While it’s important to be objective when performing legal analysis, it’s equally important to be empathetic to my client’s situation, needs, and goals.
I consider the work I do with my clients as a collaboration. We are in this together. I’m passionate about finding solutions for their problems.
I enjoy the culture at Poole Lawyers; it’s intense and fast-paced.
When I am out of the office, you can usually find me hanging out with my friends, watching Premier League soccer, or trying to retrieve my ball from the trees and water hazards at the golf course.
